ACLU files complaint on behalf of Occupy Delaware
By Randall Chase, Associated Press

The American Civil Liberties Union of Delaware has filed a complaint on behalf of Occupy Delaware against the city of Wilmington.

Tuesday's Chancery Court filing came after city officials told Occupy Delaware protesters that the must vacate a plaza in downtown Wilmington by Tuesday evening.

The ACLU is asking the court to reopen a lawsuit it filed against the city last November but which was put on hold after the city agreed to allow Occupy Delaware protesters to occupy the plaza indefinitely.

The ACLU also is seeking an injunction preventing the city from taking any action to remove Occupy Delaware protesters from the plaza.
