An Appoquinimink High School basketball player is the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware's Youth of the Year.

Senior Amani Clark tells WDEL News her local Boys and Girls Club has always been important to her.

"All the aspects of my life right now originate from the Boys and Girls Club, like basketball and like school work - anything I ever needed was always just wrapped up by The Boys and Girls Club, so it's nice to have it there," Clark says.
