Two teenagers fooling around with a handgun resulted in one of them being shot and the other facing charges.

Delaware State Police say they were called to a home on Park Lane in Dover Thursday night because of a shooting.

Police say a 14-year old had brought a loaded handgun out of the bedroom of the house and a 15-year old told him to take the gun back to the bedroom.

When the 14-year old refused, the 15-year old grabbed the gun and it went off, striking the 14-year old in the abdomen.

The 14-year old is in stable condition. The 15-year old is being held on $28,000 bond at Stevenson House in Milford on several charges, including 1st degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon.
