Ravens sign former Broncos DT Ryan McBean
By Associated Press

The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ryan McBean to a one-year contract to add depth to their line.

McBean is unavailable for the first six games of the season because of a suspension for a violation of the NFL performance-enhancing drug policy.

The Ravens lost defensive end Cory Redding and tackle Brandon McKinney during free agency to the Indianapolis Colts. Over the past week, the Ravens have signed McBean and veteran defensive tackle Ma'ake Kemoeatu.

McBean had 19 tackles and four sacks last season for the Broncos.

Denver withdrew his $1.272 million restricted free agent tender following his suspension, making him a free agent.
