A new online offering to help parents in Delaware identify whether their children may be having developmental issues.

The Parents' Evaluation of Developmental Status let's parents go to pedstest.com and enter their concerns in terms of language, cognitive, social and motor skills, according to Dr. Karyl Rattay, Delaware's Division of Public Health director.

Rattay says PEEDS, as it's called, is confidential and lets parents take their time without the rush of a screening visit at the doctor's office.

Parents can then share those concerns with their pediatrician to determine an appropriate course of action, if, in fact, delays are suspected in their child.
