B+ Foundation race car makes special pit stop

The B+ Foundation does something positive for a St. Elizabeth's High School student.

When Joey Farrell woke up and got out of bed this morning, he had no idea what was in store for him.
He went to school and planned to go to A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children for his cancer treatment.
But he had no clue he'd be riding in style, BMW race car-style.
"Awesome. Just never being in a race car before and going fast was pretty awesome," says Joey Farrell.

NASCAR drivers and B+ promoters Al Carter and Hugh Plumb picked Joey up amid a huge crowd of students. His older sister Lauren Farrell says this was his dream.
"I know for a fact he felt great, race cars, NASCAR, motorcycles, you name it, that's what he loves to do. Seeing them here today pull up in that race car, I know it made his day. I know it absolutely made his day," says Lauren Farrell.

Joey's mother Monica Farrell says her son deserves it, and the experience was beyond his wildest expectations.
"He's an amazing young man, and we're going to do what we have to do for him, make sure he gets through this. He's got such a positive attitude about everything, he's going to be fine," says Monica Farrell.

"Would you say this was kind of like a dream for you?" I asked Joey.
"Yes," he said with a smile.
