Joint Sunset Committee announces agencies it plans to review
By Frank Gerace

The General Assembly's Joint Sunset Committee Thursday released the list of groups and programs it'll be reviewing for possible elimination.

Representative John Kowalko and Senator George Bunting, who co-chair the Committee, say the 10-member panel will be looking at the Sustainable Energy Utility, Board of Parole, Delaware Manufactured Home Relocation Authority and SEED scholarship program.

The Committee votes each May on which entities it will review during the following legislative session, publishes draft reports by the following February and holds recommendation hearings in March.

State agencies, boards and commissions are typically reviewed every seven years.
