Newark pizza store robbed
By Don Voltz

A gunman wasn't hankering for pizza when he walked into the Dominos Pizza shop in the 2400 block of Pulaski Highway in Newark Thursday night.

Delaware State Police say the suspect was armed with some type of long gun when he entered the store shortly after 9pm and told the employees he wanted money from the cash register and the safe.

One of the workers complied and the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, 18-25 years of age, close to 6 feet tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a dark mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call the robbery unit at Troop 2 of the Delaware State Police or Crime Stoppers.
