"Click It Or Ticket" 2012 edition starts Monday
This year's edition of the "Click It Or Ticket" seatbelt use enforcement campaign will feature Delaware's paramedics.
The campaign, entitled "Seatbelts Save More Lives Than We Do," will feature stories from paramedics of crashes in which people who weren't buckled up were killed or seriously injured.
The crackdown starts Monday, and will include saturation patrols and checkpoints, along with billboards and radio, TV and Internet ads.
State law requires all drivers and passengers in cars to wear seatbelts, and police can pull cars over if anyone inside isn't belted.
Regardless of which of a car's occupants isn't buckled up, the fine of 83.50 is imposed on the driver.
