Register stolen at Tobacco Express
By Michelle Provencher

Not just cash, but the whole register was stolen from a Tobacco Express in Claymont Friday night.

Two men attempted to hold up the store on Namaans Road around nine p-m when the clerk couldn't get the register to open. The suspects ripped the register free from its wires and fled the store, machine in tow.

Police are now searching for the suspects, who are both described as black males between 20 and 25 years old, about five-foot-ten with thin builds.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
