Newark council to vote on charter school zoning
Plans for the Newark Charter school could advance in city council.
The body is expected to vote on a zoning change that would clear the way for the charter school at the Newark Interstate Business Park.
The city says the vote is a land use decision, rather than an indication of its stand on charter schools.
The vote could take place Monday night during Council's regular session.
