Rangers beat Devils in series opener
Dan Girardi, Chris Kreider and Artem Anisimov
each had a goal and an assist in the third
period as the New York Rangers beat New Jersey 3-0 in the opener of
the NHL's Eastern Conference finals. Henrik Lundqvist needed to
make just four of his 21 saves in the final period to secure his
fifth career playoff shutout and second of this postseason.
