White House praises DE Treasurer

| State Treasurer Chip Flowers (D) | Delaware's state Treasurer is one of three singled out by the White House for their work.
A statement from the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs highlighted the Delaware Economic Index, which is aimed at helping Delawareans understand state finances, and Prosperity Portal, designed to provide financial education, as examples of how state Treasurer Chip Flowers has, in the Council's words, helped state residents make smart financial decisions.
Maryland's and Rhode Island's treasurers were also praised by the Council.
