| WDEL's Frank Gerace reports | A local school principal probably had mixed feelings as she drove to work Thursday.
Carrcroft Elementary School Principal Carol Norman says her desk isn't usually on the school's roof--it was there Thursday due to a lost bet--the school's librarian had challenged students to read 100 thousand pages or more, and if they met the challenge, Mrs. Norman would do "something unusual."
That "something" was work from the roof for a day.
Kids like fire trucks, so with the help of one of those, Norman was hoisted up onto the school's roof, where she did her job, and she'll return to her ground-bound desk Friday.
