| Governor Jack Markell (D) | Governor Markell says his administration is working to make Delaware a great place to start any kind of business.
In his weekly address, broadcast on WDEL, Markell said that means high-tech firms, but also means more traditional types of start-ups that involve most small businesspeople.
"They're moms and pops looking to feed their families. People who want to work for themselves and put others to work -- retail and restaurants, personal services, and professional contracting, and we're focused on helping them succeed as well," says Markell.
