Myrtle Beach routs Rocks
The Blue Rocks fell 10-2 to Myrtle Beach Friday, snapping a 4-game winning streak.
Jake Skole led the way for Myrtle Beach, batting 4-for-4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Skole was a single away from hitting for the cycle.
Jason Adam (1-7) gave up 7 runs and 10 hits in 5.1 innings before being relieved by Cole White, gave up 3 more runs in 2.1 innings of work. Adam is now tied for the overall minor league lead with 7 losses.
Nicholas Tepesch (3-3) pitched 6.2 innings to earn the win for Myrtle Beach, striking out 4 and giving up the 2 runs.
The Rocks continue the series Saturday at 7:05.
