UD awards thousands of degrees at commencement
About four-thousand graduates of the University of Delaware now have their degrees in hand.
Commencement ceremonies were held over the weekend in Newark.
The Delaware Stadium graduation ceremony drew an estimated 22-thousand friends and relatives of the new graduates.
CNN News Anchor Soledad O'Brien served as commencement speaker.
It was the 163rd graduation at the University of Delaware.
