Rocks' Greg Billo Named CL Pitcher of the Week

Blue Rocks Pitcher Greg Billo was named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for May 21-27.
The right-hander started against the Potomac Nationals on May 21 and pitched seven shutout innings along with five strikeouts. He only allowed two runs in the start and also picked up his 4th win of the year.
Billo is the second Blue Rock to receive Carolina League honors this season. Teammate Kevin David was named Player of the Week for May 14-20.
The 28th-round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals in 2008 has logged 49.2 innings while striking out 46 batters this season. He is 3-0 in the month of May with a 3.90 ERA.
