Fire does $500k damage to townhouse
Updated Wednesday, May 30, 2012 - 2:03pm
State Fire Marshal's investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that did about half a million dollars damage to a Newark-area townhouse.
Crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company arrived on-scene in the 700 block of 6th Street in the Brighton Village Townhouses around noon Tuesday, and found heavy fire and smoke coming from the house.
No one was home at the time, and the affected house's residents are now staying with relatives.
Two adjacent townhouses were also damaged.
