Candidate for 6th city council district announcing in Wilmington

Sherry Dorsey Walker is announcing her candidacy today for the 6th District City Council.
Walker is a Democrat and a lifelong Wilmington resident.
She currently serves as the President and CEO of SWAP Productions, which produces independent documentaries profiling African-American women.
Walker aims to be the first woman or person of color to hold the seat which represents parts of Hedgeville and Browntown.
