Rocks Drop 2nd Straight
The Blue Rocks suffered a 5-3 loss Wednesday night against Carolina to drop the last two of the 4-game series.
Pitcher Francisco Jimenez picked up his 5th win for the Mudcats with Jordan Cooper recording his first save against the Rocks.
Wilmington scored their first run in the 5th with a double by Alex McClure. Brett Eibner added a 2-run double in the 8th to give the Rocks 2 more runs.
Right-armed Jason Adam picked up his 8th loss of the season surrendering 4 runs over 6 innings.
The last game of the series takes place Thursday night at 7:15 pm in Zebulon, N.C.
