Investigators probe Harrington house fire that displaced family of 6
By Frank Gerace

No word yet on the cause of a house fire in Harrington that did about 140 thousand dollars' damage and forced a family of six into emergency shelter Friday afternoon.

Harrington firefighters arrived on-scene in the 100 block of Hanley Street around 4:30 to find flames shooting from the 2-story house.

The Red Cross is providing temporary shelter for the family.

No one was hurt, and state Fire Marshal's investigators say the house had no working smoke detectors.
