Newark PD mourns loss of police dog

Newark is mourning the loss of retired police dog K9 Paco.
Paco died Sunday in the company of his handler Corporal Christopher Jones.
The dog retired from service in September due to hip problems.
Paco joined Newark PD in 2006 from Indiana. His service marked the first time in more than two decides Newark Police utilized canines for service.
