Salem blanks Rocks to complete DH Sweep

| VIDEO: Highlights of Rocks/Sox & Manager Vance Wilson on woeful offense | Salem defeated Wilmington 3-0 Wednesday night completing the 3-game sweep.
Travis Shaw led the Red Sox offense with a solo home run in the top of the 1st making it 1-0 Salem. Shaw also doubled in the 3rd which scored two more runs and gave Salem a 3-0 lead.
Wilmington recorded only 4 hits during the game and were not able to produce much offense against Salem starting pitcher Keith Couch. Michael Olmsted shut the Rocks offense down in the bottom of the 7th to earn his 13th save. The Rocks were 0 for 3 with runners in scoring position.
The Rocks look to bounce back at Frawley Stadium as they take on Winston-Salem in a 4-game series Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
