Notre Dame, Brey agree on 10-year deal
Multiple media outlets are reporting Notre Dame basketball coach Mike Brey has agreed to a 10-year contract extension.
The South Bend Tribune reported on Monday that Notre Dame Athletic Director Jack Swarbrick will hold a news conference Tuesday to announce the deal with Brey.
The 53-year-old Brey is a three-time Big East Coach of the Year. He is 260-134 as coach of the Fighting Irish since leaving Delaware in 2000 to head to South Bend.
Brey had three years left on an extension he signed in 2008 that ran through the 2014-15 season.
