DNREC says Wednesday will be a "Code Orange" air quality day in Delaware.

The agency expects high temperatures to combine with car exhaust, industrial emissions and other pollutants to push amounts of ground-level ozone to the point where members of sensitive groups could have trouble breathing if they spend too much time outside, or engage in strenuous physical activities while they're out.

People with asthma or other respiratory problems, the elderly, and young children, should limit their outdoor time.
