WDEL's Mellany Armstrong reports

It might have seemed like you were back in the 1700s if you were looking toward the water in Old New Castle.

The replica square-rigged ship the HMS Bounty anchored overnight.

Patty Draper showed up to get a look at it.

"My gosh, I mean, that's the ship that Marlon Brando was standing on when they made "Mutiny on the Bounty." That is the actual replica of the ship that was used during that movie. And then I think about Johnny Depp, I mean, that was used, I believe, as 'The Intrepid' possibly, on 'Dead Man's Chest,' and 'Treasure Island,' so, that's a lot of history sitting out there," she said.

The ship heads to Philadelphia Thursday, where you can get dockside tours through the weekend at Penns Landing.
