A syringe was the weapon of choice for a suspect in a Home Depot robbery on Tuesday evening.

Police say a white male went into the home improvement store on Miller Road in Wilmington, loaded up his cart with items, and began to walk out the exit without paying.

When a 20-year-old employee approached the man asking for a receipt, he whipped out a syringe and threatened the store clerk.

The suspect then fled, and now police are asking anyone with information about his identity to come forward or call Crimestoppers.
