Man with weapon arrested in Wilmington
A 20-year old Wilmington man is being held after he tried to elude police Thursday afternoon.
Wilmington Police say two neighborhood policing unit officers were alerted about two suspects in front of a vacant home ...when they arrived, the two suspects fled with one trying to hide under a shed.
Michael Grooms was found hiding with a modified air soft/pellet gun.
Grooms was charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespass and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon.
He's being held on $7,000 bail.
