State GOP Chairman slams state Economic Index
State Republican Party Chairman John Sigler is underwhelmed by the latest Delaware Economic Index.
In a statement, Sigler said there's "no legitimate reason" for Delaware's ranking 42nd in the US in job creation, claiming that the number shows "neither President Obama nor Governor Markell have a clue" as to how to help Delawareans succeed.
The July index shows New Jersey ranks 18th in job creation, Maryland 20th and Pennsylvania, 35th.
