By Frank Gerace

The state Medical Examiner's office says a skull found last month on Pea Patch Island is that of a Newark man who was last seen alive nearly 2 years ago.

The skull has been identified as that of Timothy Finamore, who was 53 years old when he was last seen in October 2010.

There's no word yet on how Finamore died.

His skull was found June 24th.
