Friday night shooting victim identified

Wilmington police have identified the victim in a recent shooting.
Police responded to a report of a shooting near 10th and Bennett Streets around 9:15 Friday night where they learned 22-year-old Kevin Waterman of Wilmington was shot in the chest and was being transported to a hospital in a private car.
The cops caught up to the car at 12th and Washington Streets, and the victim was treated at the scene and taken to Christiana Hospital's emergency room, where he died.
They're questioned the driver of the car, but he's not considered a suspect.
Suspect information has not been released yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
