NCCo tax bills go out this week
New Castle County is sending out bills this week for property taxes due October first.
County property taxes weren't raised for this fiscal year, so any increases will be in state school taxes, which will appear on the same bill.
Unpaid balances as of October second are subject to a 6-percent penalty, and an additional 1-percent fee each month thereafter.
Residents whose property taxes aren't included in their mortgage payments and who don't get a bill by August 10th should call 323-2600.
