Fatal crash at DuPont Children's Hospital

A Wilmington man is dead after crashing his car into a concrete pillar at the entrance of A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital early Saturday morning.

Emergency crews responded to a call at 1:35 a.m. and found 54-year-old Robert Schultheis trapped in the driver's seat of his Ford F250.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
