Dead body discovered in pond
A dead body was discovered in a retention pond in the Chaddwyck community Saturday morning, and police are asking for the public's help.
The person -- who's identity is still unknown -- was floating face down in the pond when emergency crews arrived around 8:30 a-m.
The victim was turned over to the Delaware State Medical Examiner's office, who will determine the cause of death.
New Castle County Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call them or Crimestoppers.
