Local gas prices stabilize, crude oil drops slightly

Since the beginning of July gas prices have risen 5 percent.

Delaware motorists saw the price at the pump pull back by a penny last week.

Triple A Mid Atlantic reports it cost an average of $3.53 for a gallon of unleaded regular.

Spokesperson Jana Tidwell says gas prices may not retreat until the summer driving season is over after Labor Day.
