WDEL's Bert Brokaw reports.

Three male juveniles, ages 11 to 13, have been arrested and charged with vandalizing school buses in the Advanced Student Transportation bus lot on Lambson Lane in New Castle Sunday evening.

Delaware State Police say the three suspects, from New Castle and Elkton, broke into the bus lot and drove several buses into each other.

In all, they drove 8 buses and damaged a total of 15 vehicles.

Police say the buses damaged three fence gates, several areas of the perimeter fence and destroyed a port-a-potty.

Damage was estimated in excess of $22,500.

The three face numerous charges and have been released pending Family Court hearings.
