"She was on the floor, and when I saw her on the floor, I tried to talk to her, but she didn't talk to me back, so I just called 911," says Keairra Stevens.
Her mom Chekita Stevens suffers from diabetes. It turns out, Chekita's blood sugar was low, and she fell off the bed and passed out. She says her daughter's a hero.
"I was really shocked that she even called because I didn't expect her to even though we had gone over it a lot."

Keairra knew what to do because she had a paper in her room and in the kitchen, instructing her to call 911. She tells WDEL she'll be getting an award from Newark Police for her bravery.
"Like I'm a hero, and I can save everyone," says Keairra Stevens.
