The first-ever Lighthouse Festival in Lewes on Saturday will be fun and full of history.
"Walk in the steps of a former lighthouse keeper. What do they do? Why do they do it? How do they eat? Is it lonely?," said Jim Salmon of the Delaware River and Bay Authority.

You can also tour the Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse for a fee with a reservation. The festival is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Green at the Lewes terminal of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.
