Two shot near 5th and Monroe in Wilmington
Wilmington police are looking for the person who opened fire in the area of 5th and North Monroe Streets, striking two people with gunshots.
A male victim and a female victim were wounded in their feet Sunday afternoon, and were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
A large crowd had gathered at the intersection by the time police arrived on the scene.
The investigation continues, and anyone who can assist is urged to call the Wilmington tip line at 576-3990 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
