Strong-arm robbery near Christiana Mall
State Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery near the Christiana Mall Tuesday, a holdup that's similar to a robbery attempt that happened in the same place last Sunday.
Police say 2 men punched another man in the face and head as the victim walked in the field near the bus depot adjacent to the mall around 7:15 Tuesday morning.
The robbers knocked the victim to the ground, he gave up his wallet, and the suspects took off toward the Cavalier Country Club Apartments.
Sunday afternoon, a man punched another man and knocked him to the ground in the same field, but couldn't rip the victim's backpack from his grasp.
