Delaware football coach K.C. Keeler says the Blue Hens offensive line is a work in progress, but it is getting better.

The line is young, with left tackle Erle Ladson one of the more experienced players on it.

Ladson is a junior from the Bronx, New York. He played in 10 games as a sophomore, all as a backup.

He's also the biggest starter at 6-6, 320 pounds.

Ladson says he considers himself to be, along with junior Brandon Heath, one of the leaders along the offensive line.
