Laurel man arrested on attempted murder charge
A Laurel man faces an attempted murder charge in connection with a shooting in Sussex County Monday morning.
Delaware State Police say 20-year old Rihem Frisby is charged with shooting a 25-year old Bridgeville man in the back as the man was running toward the Hollybrook Apartments in Laurel in the early morning hours Monday.
Police say Frisby came up to the victim as he was sitting on the hood of his car, demanded the man give him everything he had, and when he started to do so, Frisby tried to pistol whip the victim.
The man managed to flee but was shot in the back.
He's in stable condition.
Frisby was arrested after reporting to his probation officer Tuesday evening.
He's being held on $255,000 bail on attempted murder and other charges.
