Delaware political observers say we may see the largest voter turnout in state history today.

WDEL's Allan Loudell has been visiting polling places around New Castle County since early this morning.

Allan says every polling place he has been at has had a steady stream of voters going in and out, and election officials have told him that turnout may be more than 80%.

One poll worker in Talleyville tells WDEL News that they had more voters this morning than all of last September's Primary Day.

Large numbers of voters are also expected as people leave work this evening.
