Wilmington heroin bust nets 130 bags of heroin, 3 suspects

Wilmington police say 3 Pennsylvania residents are in custody, and 130 bags of heroin off the streets, the result of a Friday night patrol.

Police say 2 officers saw George Turak, Brandon Kline and Rebecca Murtha behaving suspiciously near West 4th and North Spruce Streets around 6 PM.

Turak was grabbing his waistband, and the cops thought he had a gun.

The officers stopped Turak, Kline and Murtha on East 5th Street, and a search of Turak turned up the heroin and some syringes.

Turak was charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of syringes and loitering for drug activity.

Kline and Murtha were booked on loitering counts.
