Phils reshape coaching staff
By Don Voltz

Less than a day after releasing three coaches, the Phillies have hired three new ones and re-signed three others.

Mick Billmeyer, Rich Dubee and Juan Samuel have all been offered positions for 2013, while Ryne Sandberg, Steve Henderson and Rod Nichols have all been promoted from within the organization.

Sandberg moves up from manager of the Triple A Lehigh Valley IronPigs and will be the team's new third base coach and infield instructor.

Nichols, the club's Triple A pitching coach, will be the new bullpen coach.

And Henderson will be the new hitting coach after serving as minor league hitting coordinator for the last three years.

Dubee returns as the Phils pitching coach...Samuel moves from third base coach to first base coach and outfield and baserunning instructor while Billmeyer will become the team's catching coach after serving as the bullpen coach for the last 4 years..
