Powerball winners come forward
A Wilmington couple cashed in a winning Powerball ticket Friday afternoon at Delaware Lottery headquarters in Dover.
Lottery officials say the couple opted to remain anonymous, and they took the single-payment value of the ticket of just over $33-million.
The winner, who is described as a "laborer," says he was checking the numbers during a break at work, realized he had won and said, "I'm done for the day!"
And it's not the first time they've won. The couple hit a Play 4 jackpot three years ago. And since both played the lottery that day, they had TWO winning tickets, totaling $11,000.
What will they do with their new windfall? They say they'll help family members.
