West Nile case found in Middletown

A West Nile case is confirmed in Middletown, bringing the state's total to seven.

Delaware's Division of Public Health reports the case was mild, and the person's prognosis is good.

This year's number of West Nile Cases is the second largest in state history. In 2003, Delaware saw 17 West Nile cases.

This year, only one person, a 76-year-old woman from New Castle has died from West Nile.
