Wesley's Morris earns national D3 honor
By Sean Greene

Wesley safety Jared Morris has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after recording his 5th interception of the season in the Wolverines' 26-17 win over Birmingham-Southern last Saturday.

The converted wide receiver also had two tackles for loss amongst his 7 tackles, including a critical stop on an option play when Birmingham-Southern had the ball down just 19-17 in the final five minutes.

The honor is Morris' second of the season, after getting the weekly All-America nod following his school-record 4 interception performance against East Texas Baptist in the season opener.

Morris is 4th on the Wolverines with 28 tackles. Wesley faces off with Virginia University of Lynchburg Saturday at 1pm in Dover.
