Scrapple is served in Sussex

Do you love it or hate it? Either way it will be around this weekend.

The Apple Scrapple Festival is back in Bridgeville, if you're looking family fun event that isn't a budget breaker.

"We have a relaxed carnival atmosphere. We have delicious food, wonderful events and the festival is free admission, free parking, free bus service and free entertainment," said Karen Johnson, Executive Chair of the festival.

Johnson tells WDEL, all the local favorites will return including scrapple carving and your chance to shot-put scrapple as far as the eye can see.

Make sure you wake up early for your breakfast. Scrapple is served up starting at 9 am Saturday.
